- 1 tbsp. turmeric - fresh preferably
- 2 tsp fresh ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cardamom pods split open for the seeds
-1/4 tsp clove
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 cups milk (non dairy if needed)
- sweetener to taste (I like date syrup or maple syrup)

Directions:
Directions:
1) place spices in a medium sauce pan and heat until fragrant
2) add milk and heat until it steams, but not boiling
3) reduce heat to low and let simer for 5 minutes until well infused
4) strain through a mesh sieve into a container and mix in sweetenter
5) drink or store in the fridge to be used later
