1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup molasses
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, cream sugar and shortening until light and fluff. Add molasses. Blend dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Form log, wrap tightly in waxed paper and food wrap. Chill in fridge over night. Cut very very thin and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 12 -15 minutes.
