4½ c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 c. sweet onion, chopped
1 c. celery chopped
4 T. butter
1/2 c. flour
4 c. chicken broth
1 c. half-and-half
1½ c. wild rice, cooked
1 T. fresh marjoram
salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine mushrooms, onion and celery with butter in a Dutch oven. Cook over medium heat until vegetables are tender. Sprinkle flour over vegetables, stirring well. Add broth and simmer until thick. Reduce heat and add half-and-half, rice, marjoram, salt and pepper. Continue to cook over low heat until thoroughly heated.
