2 ¼ C. flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 C. (2 sticks) butter, softened
¾ C. sugar
¾ C. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1 ¾ C. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 11-13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets on wire racks for 2 minutes.

This is the recipe off the Nestle Toll House chocolate chips and the best chocolate chip recipe that I have found. Sometimes I replace chocolate chips with M&M's. You can also add pecans.

These are really good especially with the pecans, but if I make them for my family, I leave the nuts out. Who are theses people that don't like pecans??
