1 cup butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2½ cups flour
3 cups oatmeal
1½ cup chocolate chips
1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Set aside 2 Tbls butter. In a large mixing bowl mix butter until creamy. Add brown sugar and soda and mix until blended. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until creamy. Mix in flour, one cup at a time until blended. Stir in oatmeal.

Filling: Combine reserved butter, chocolate chips and milk. Cook over low heat until melted, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Press ⅔ oatmeal mixture in bottom of 9x13 pan. Spread filling over oatmeal mixture. Dot remaining oatmeal mixture on filling. Bake 20-25 minutes until top is light brown (chocolate filling will still look moist) Cook before cutting.
