1 box "Slap Ya Mama" Louisiana Style Gumbo Mix
2 cups cubed chicken - no skin
2 cups chopped smoked sausage such as andouille
4 cups chicken broth
4 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown chicken until done. Add sausage and fry until hot.
Combine gumbo mix and liquid. Add meat. Heat and simmer at least 20 minutes. Serve over hot rice.

"Slap Ya Mama" is a brand of cajun foods and spices that we discovered when visiting Mark in New Orleans. It has since become a staple in the Winslow home and can be purchased from Amazon.com This is almost as good as Mark's gumbo, but way easier!
