1 CUP SUGAR
3/4 CUP FLOUR
1/3 CUP COCOA
1/3 CUP WATER
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
1/4 TEASPOON SALT
1/4 TEASPOON SODA

SMALL AMOUNT OF POWDERED SUGAR

LINE A 15X20 JELLY ROLL PAN (OR COOKIE SHEET) WITH FOIL GREASE AND FLOUR FOIL.

BEAT 3 EGGS UNTIL FLUFFY

POUR EVENLY (SWISH PAN TO MAKE SURE IT'S EVEN) IN PAN AND BAKE AT 350 FOR 15-20 MINUTES.

SPRINKLE POWDERED SUGAR PM TOP OF BAKED CAKE. MAKE SURE IT IS COATED WELL, OR IT WILL STICK. LET COOL FOR A MINUTE, BUT NOT TOO COOL. COVER WITH THIN DISH TOWEL AND INVERT PAN AND CAREFULLY REMOVE PAN AND FOIL. ROLL UP CAKE AND LET COOL. THEN UNROLL AND SPREAD SOFTENED ICE CREAM. THEN RE ROLL AND WRAP IN PLASTIC WRAP AND FOIL AND FREEZE.

YOU CAN TOP THE SLICES WITH CHOCOLATE SAUCE IT'S SO YUMMY!!

My Grandma made these for my aunt Marcie's wedding and she used to make them
at Christmas time a lot. She usually used peppermint stick ice cream.
