1/2 CUP WARM WATER
2 TABLESPOONS YEAST
2 CUPS SCALDED MILK
1 CUBE MARGARINE OR SHORTENING (I USE BUTTER)
1/2 CUP SUGAR
2 TEASPOONS SALT
2 LARGE EGGS
6 OR 7 CUPS FLOUR

SPRINKLE YEAST OVER WATER AND SET ASIDE. MIX; MILK, MARGARINE OR BUTTER, SUGAR, SALT, & EGGS. ADD HALF OF THE FLOUR AND STIR UNTIL SMOOTH. ADD YEAST MIXTURE AND REST OF FLOUR. KNEAD FOR 10 MINUTES. LET RISE UNTIL SIZE DOUBLES. MIX DOWN AND LET RISE AGAIN. MAKE INTO ROLLS AND BAKE ON 350 FOR 18 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
