5 ½ Cups Flour...............................................1 ½ Cups Milk
3 Tbsp Sugar...................................................½ Cup Water
2 tsp Salt..........................................................¼ Cup Butter
1 ½ tsp Yeast...................................................⅓ Cup Butter, melted
Directions:
Directions:
Combine 3 cups flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a large bowl. Stir well and set aside. Combine milk, water and ¼ cup butter in a small pot and cook until butter melts. Let cool. Gradually add milk mixture to flour mixture and beat on low 30 seconds, then on high for 2 minutes. Gradually stir in enough flour to make a nice dough. Turn onto floured board and knead 8-10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place until double, about an hour. Punch down then let rest 15 minutes. Shape dough into balls and dip in butter. Place in pan, cover and let rise 45 mins. Preheat oven to 375º bake 15 minutes. Brush with any remaining butter.
