2 tasses de fèves sèches
1/2 lb de lard salé
1/4 tasse de mélasse
1/4 tasse de cassonade
1 cuillère à thé moutarde en poudre sèche
1/4 tasse de ketchup
1 cuillère à thé sel
1/4 cuillère à thé poivre noir

Directions:
Laver, trier et couvrir les fèves d'eau froide. Faire tremper les fèves toute la nuit. Le lendemain, ébouillanter les fèves pendant 10 minutes. Couper et mettre la 1/2 lb de lard salé en tranche dans le fond de la mijoteuse. Ajouter les fèves et les autres ingrédients et recouvrir de lard. Couvrir le tout d'eau chaude.

Faire cuire à HIGH pendant 1 heure ou à LOW pendant 6 heures.
