1 C. Butter or Margarine
1 C. Water
2 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
1/2 C Sour Cream
1 tsp. Almond Extract
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda

Frosting:
1/2 C. Butter or Margarine
1/4 C. Milk
4-1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
1 C. Walnuts, chopped (or chopped almonds)


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°.
In a large bowl mix together flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, almond extract, salt and baking soda until smooth. In a sauce pan, bring butter and water to a boil, then add to cake mixture. Mix well. Pour into a greased 15“ x 10“ sheet cake pan. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes. Cool.

Frosting:
In a sauce pan, bring butter and milk to a boil, then add to powdered sugar and almond extract, mix well. Stir in walnuts.
