1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp almond flavoring
1 cup raspberry jam

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in ground almonds. Beat in egg and almond flavoring. Reserve half of the almond mixture, press remainder into 9 inch square pan. Spread with raspberry jam.
Roll reserve almond mixture into pencil like strips on lightly floured surface, place in lattice design on top of jam.
Bake 375ºfor 20 to 25 Minutes. Cool then cut into squares
