1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (3 1/2 ounce) bag boil-in-bag long-grain rice
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup water
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup frozen peas

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add onion to pan; sauté 4 minutes or until tender. Cut open rice bag; pour rice pan. Add turmeric; sauté 2 minutes. Add broth, 1/2 cup water, and salt; bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 12 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in peas.

Yield: 4 (1/2 cup) serving
