5 cups Flour
1 lb. lard
1tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg beaten
1 Tbsp. Vinegar
Water to make 1 cup of liquid


Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt and sugar. Cut in Lard.
Add 1 cup liquid (combine, egg, vinegar and water) to which has been added 1 tsp baking powder.
Mix until pastry forms a ball. This pastry gets better when handled and can be stored in the refrigerator or frozen until needed. Use with your pies or tarts.

Cook at 425º for 10 minutes the at 350º until cooked.
