2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. milk; little at a time
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
2 t. vanilla
1 t. salt
pkg chocolate chips, or 1 c raisins
1 c. nuts, if desired
4 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and shortening, add eggs. Mix together dry ingredients. Alternate adding milk and dry ingredients to the sugar mixture. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 12-14 minutes.
