2 lbs thick sliced halibut
2 tsp salt
6 T butter
3 cups milk
grated sharp cheddar cheese
pepper
6 T flour
1 quart diced cooked cold potatoes
4 slices bacon - cooked and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Place the halibut in the center of a greased shallow baking dish.
Season with 1 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper. Prepare medium cream sauce, using the butter, flour and milk.
Add 1 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper.
Add the potatoes to the sauce and pour over and around the fish.
Sprinkle with the cheese and bacon.
Bake at 3255 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.
