1 pkg. yeast
1/3 C. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4C. warm water
1/4 C. shortening
2 C. scalded milk
5¾ C to 6¼ C. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water. Combine hot milk, sugar, salt and shortening. Cool to lukewarm. Stir in 2 cups flour and beat well. Add softened yeast; mix. Add remaining flour to make moderately stiff dough. Turn onto board. Knead 10-20 min. Place in greased bowl; let rise in warm place until double.
Shape into 2 portions. Roll into 15x7" rectangles. Spread 1½ T. melted butter over each. Combine 1/2 C sugar with 1 T cinnamon; spread half over each.
Roll into loaves; place in 2 greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise. Bake at 375º for 30 min.
