1/2 Cup White Sugar 1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Cup Water 1 tsp. Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Clear Jel or Perma Flo
1/2 Cup Water 2 Tbsp. Jello
1/2 Cup Light Karo Syrup 2 Cups Raw Fruit

Heat top four ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Make paste with clear jel and 1/2 Cup water. Stir into heated syrup and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add karo syrup and Jell-o. Add fruit when cooled.

This recipe is the one I use when I make my peach cobbler. Any fresh fruit can be used when making this cobbler. I buy clear jel and perma flo at H & M Country store in Jamesport, Missouri.
While I’m sure you can find it local… it’s a good excuse to make a trip up to Amish country!!!!
