1/4 cup olive oil
1med. onion, chopped fine
6 oz. can tomato paste (dilute with 8 oz. water)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. ground loin beef
3 garlic cloves, chopped
2 large cans plum tomatoes, chopped well (blender is best).
3 fresh basil leaves
1 bay leaf
1 1/4 lb. Italian bulk sausage
1/2 lb. beef chuck chunks

Brown all meat in skillet with olive oil, salt and pepper. Set aside.

In a saucepan, heat olive oil, garlic and onion, brown lightly. Add blended tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil and bay leaf.
Cover and simmer for 1/2 hour. Add diluted tomato paste. Bring to a boil and add all meats.
Simmer covered for 1 1/2 hours. Remove meat and bay leaf from sauce.
Serve over pasta with grated Parmesan Romano cheese.
