2 cups sifted flour
1 Tbl. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
¾ cup margarine or shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
¼ cup molasses


Directions:
Directions:
Mix together (sift) flour, ginger, soda, cinnamon, and salt. Cream margarine--add sugar until fluffy. Then beat in eggs and molasses. Add (sift in) dry ingredients. Stir to make stiff dough. Form dough into balls. Roll in sugar to coat. Place
2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake in 350º oven until done.
