2 C. flour
1/2 C. sugar
1 T. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 C. milk
1/4 C. melted butter or margarine
Jelly or Jam

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk and butter. Mix well. Add to well of dry ingredients. Stir until just moist. Fill tins 1/4 full. Spoon 1 teaspoon jelly in center of each tin. Spoon remaining batter over jelly, filling each cup 1/2 full. Bake 400º 20 - 25 minutes. Remove. makes 8 - 10 muffins.
