2 cans water chestnuts
1 # bacon - thin sliced.

Sandy's Sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce( or more)
1/2 cup brown sugar ( or more)


Barbara Wrights sauce
1/2 c. Pk. Br. Sugar
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chili sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Sandys recipe:
Cut each bacon slice into 3 pieces.
Rinse and drain water chestnuts. Add water chestnuts to small bowl and cover with soy sauce for 1 hour.
Roll each water chestnut in brown sugar.
Roll 1/3 pc. of raw bacon onto each chestnut and secure with toothpick. Place each piece on rack placed on parchment covered baking sheet.
Bake until bacon is crisp.
Serve hot.

Barb's recipe
Cut bacon in1/2 PCs. Wrap bacon pieces around drained water chestnuts- secure w/ toothpick and place in ungreased 13x9 pan. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over Rumaki's. Bake 375º uncovered for 30 minutes until bubbly. Serve hot.
