Directions:
Cream butter and sugar till well blended. Add beaten egg and molasses. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Divide the dough into four equal pieces and make each piece into a 12" log roll. Place two logs onto one sheet pan that has been greased. With the heel of the hand flatten each roll to a thickness of about 1/4" Do the same for the remaining dough logs.

Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.

Whisk the frosting ingredients together and pour over the baked logs of dough while still hot.

Cut into bars and serve.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Jim's co-worker from 28 years ago gave me this recipe. It's a good dough for gingerbread men too. I would roll out the whole ball of dough at once to a thickness of 1/4" and cut into Gingerbread Men.
