Spare Ribs or Short Ribs

Marinade:
6 T Olive Oil
2 T Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Salt
1/4-1/2 tsp ground Black Pepper
4 garlic cloves minced
2 tsp Honey Mustard or Dijoin Mustard
1 T Soy Sauce
1/2 C Red Wine

Directions:
Directions:
Mix marinade ingredients together in crock pot. Add spare ribs coating each one before turning crock pot to low and cooking 2-4 hours. 20 mins before dinner place spare ribs on rack suspended over foil covered pan. Coat with barbecue sauce if desired thicken marinade in crock pot for serving with broiled spare ribs.

When broiler reaches temperature BROIL 4-6 INCHS below heat source until brown. Turn each spare rib over and broil until brown again. Can be coated with barbecue sauce at this time.

Spare ribs are also called short ribs. This marinade is enough for 8 servings of short ribs so load up the crock pot. Left overs can be frozen for a quick meal later.
