3 to 4 lbs veal shanks with bone in
6 tbls olive oil
i onion, chopped
1 carrot grated
one large can chopped tomatoes (or 8 fresh tomatoes chopped)
4 oz tomato paste
chopped celery
¾ cup white wine
¾ cup beef stick
1 tsp chopped garlic

Directions:

Coat veal in flour
Fry veal in olive oil until browned, remove
Add onion, carrot, and celery in pot and fry slowly until soft but not brown
Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, wine, stock, garlic.
