3/4 lb butter (Mama adjusted recipe to 2 sticks)
1 tsp oil
3 C. sugar
6 eggs
3 C. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 t. baking powder
1 C. sour cream
2 T. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, oil and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, Beat 1 minute after adding each egg. Mix flour, soda and baking powder and sift together. Alternate adding flour with sour cream to butter sugar mixture. Mix well. Add vanilla and beat well.

Bake in tube pan 315º or 325º for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Cover with chocolate glaze and then with walnuts.
