Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Dough:
125 gr. (4.4oz.) butter
⅔ c. sugar
1 egg
1¾ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Pudding:
Approx. 6 apples
1 ½ c. milk
¾ c. cream
2 pkgs. vanilla pudding
6 TB sugar
1/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Dough:
Knead the dough. Line bottom and sides of a spring form pan.

Pudding:
Pare and core apples and cut into quarters. Place cored side down into the spring form pan. Stir pudding powder with sugar and 1/3 c. milk until smooth. Bring remaining milk and cream to a boil, whisk in pudding mixture until smooth. Remove from heat and pour over apples. Bake at 350º for approx. 1 - 1¼ hrs.
(For the pudding not to burn, I usually barely cover the bottom of a stainless steel pot with water and bring it to a boil, then add the milk and cream and bring it to a boil. This way they heat up much faster.) Let cake cool off completely before removing from pan.
