1 14 oz bag caramels
10 Tbls half n half
2 c quick cooking rolled oats
½ c brown sugar, packed
2 c chocolate chips
2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
¾ c soft butter

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels in half n half (works well in microwave). Cool slightly. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and nuts in large bowl. Press half into bottom of 9X13 pan. Bake 10 min at 350. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with choc chips and nuts. Spread caramel mixture over choc chips. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake 15-20 min. longer, till golden brown. Cool 1-2 hours before cutting into bars.
