2 cups flour'
2 cups sugar

1/2 cup crisco
1 stick butter
1 cup water
4 TBSP cocoa
Bring these last four things to boil in saucepan.

Sift flour and suger together, pour boiled mixture over flour and sugar while hot. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1/2 tsp soda, 1/2-1 tsp vanilla and 2 eggs beaten.

Pour into a sheet cake pan with at least 1 inch thick edge. Cook 20 min. at 400 degrees

Frosting
1/2 cup butter
4 TBSP cocoa
6 TBSP milk (1/2 cup)
Boil all together. You can use same pan without washing it. Add one box of powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and one cup chopped pecans (opt. my family don't all like nuts so I do half and half)
Spread on cake while warm.

Soo good, very fudgy.
