1 medium cabbage
1 lb of beef
1 chopped onion
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste
6 slices of bacon
1 can tomato paste
1 can tomatoes
vinegar - 1cup

Directions:
Directions:
-remove core of cabbage and put cabbage in 1 cup of vinegar and hot water; boil 5-10 minutes or until leaves are limp
-remove leaves and put on plate to cool
-fry onion and bacon till slightly brown
-combine meat with bacon, onion, egg and salt/ pepper
-place quantity of mixture on leaf and roll up
-place in crock pot or roasting pan
-combine tomato paste, tomatoes and 2 cups of cabbage water and pour over cabbage rolls
-cover and cook on low for 4 hours in a crock pot
