3\4 cup butter softened
3\4 cup shortening
11\2 cups sugar
1\4 teaspoon baking soda
1\4 teaspoon salt
1 Egg
1 Egg yolk
3 Tbsp milk
11\2 tsp vanilla
4 1\2 cups all-purpose flour

1. In a large mixing bowl beat butter and shortening wit electric mixer high speed 30 secs. Add sugar, baking soda and salt. Beat until scraping sides. Beat in egg, egg yolk milk, and vaniila. Beat as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. use spoon to stir in any rem. flour.

2. Divide dough into three equal portions (use for Chocolate thumb prints)
