Directions:
Place yeast in a bowl and pour in lukewarm water. Then slowly add 1 teaspoon sugar and let soften for 10 minutes. Combine scalded milk with remaining sugar and salt. Cool then mix in yeast mixture and beaten eggs. Add half the flour and beat dough very hard. Mix in butter till smooth then gradually stir in all flour until well mixed. Beat dough until it forms a big ball that does not stick to the sides of the bowl. Turn into greased large bowl. Turn dough over to reveal greased side. Cover with warm damp cloth and allow it to rise for 2 hours or until doubled in size. Punch dough down and recover, allow it to rise again for 30 minutes. Punch down again then turn out onto well floured board. Shape into long rectangle about 1/4 inches thick. Melt some butter and brush over the dough, then coat with cinnamon as desired followed by sugar. Roll into log and slice into about 2 inch thick rolls. Set in lightly buttered cake pan about 2 inches apart. Cover and let rise for about 15 minutes or until sides are touching. Brush tops with butter and bake at 375º for 15-20 minutes.
