2 C. flour
1 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 C Crisco
2/3 C. buttermilk
2 eggs

Icing:
1 ⅓ C. Orange juice
1 C. sugar
grated rind of 2 oranges
Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder soda, Crisco and buttermilk. Add eggs. Bake in 11 x 9 inch pan.

Make Icing, while cake bakes.
Dissolve ingredients well. Spread over hot cake, cut with openings.
