1 whole beef tenderloin
garlic powder

Mix together:
1 stick butter, softened
1 T paprika
1 T soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the tenderloin to room temperature (2-3 hours). Sprinkle with garlic powder. Coat entire tenderloin with the butter mixture. Preheat the oven to 400º, then turn on the broiler once oven has reached 400º. Broil for 10 minutes total (5 minutes per side). Turn off broiler and keep meat in oven. Return the oven temperature to 400º. Bake for 15 minutes and then flip tenderloin to other side. Bake for 10 minutes more or until the internal temperature is 130º (very important to not overcook). Remove from oven, cover with foil and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

Note: this is served with blender bernaise with a hollandaise base
