2 ½ C. sugar
1 C. Milk
2 Tab. butter or margarine
Pinch of soda

Directions:
Cook until it makes a ball in cold water. Cool slightly - hot. Beat and spoon over the cake, while still hot.

Put a thick layer of moist coconut over cake layers, then let the caramel seep down through the coconut.

Be sure to use a large pot.
