2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
½ cup milk
½ pound butter
3 cups uncooked oatmeal
Directions:

Mix the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan.

Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and add the oatmeal.

Mix well and drop by teaspoonful onto parchment paper.

Cool.

This was Grandma Rotert's recipe. It is more like candy but she called it a cookie.
