Pastry for 2 pie crusts
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup syrup (of course I use Rogers Golden)
1 Tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup butter melted
1/2 cup currants or chopped raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Line 24 tart tins with pastry. Beat eggs slightly, then beat in sugar, syrup, vinegar, vanilla and butter. Stir in fruit and nuts. Fill tart shells 2/3 full with mixture. Bake at 425º 15 to 20 minutes, until filling is browned and set..
