˝ Bushel tomatoes
1 C. Oil
10 Toes Garlic
4 Green sweet peppers
2 T. Pepper
12 Small cans tomato paste
1 ˝ T. Sweet basil
12 Cans Hot water, rinse can
1 C. Sugar
6 Large onions
1 Bunch celery
6 T. Salt
1 Bunch parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil and fry onions, peppers, celery and garlic which has been chopped in blender.
Scald tomatoes, blend and pour in canner.
Add cooked vegetables.
Add spices, bring to boil and simmer 4-7 hours.
Pour very hot sauce into hot sterilized jars and seal with hot lids, and turn upside down to cool.

* Be sure rims of jars are free of sauce or jar will not seal.
