2 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 C Crisco
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Cream together Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add rest of ing-
Form into a small ball and roll in 1/4 C sugar and 2 tsp cinn.
Put on cookie sheets, do not press down, these cute little balls, they spread out.
Bake 350 oven (they are done when slightly brown and cracked

This is one of my few recipes that I own in Grandma Dorothy's own handwriting. I copied it exactly. My favorite thing on the card is it says it is only 1 serving. :-) She filled in the recipe from: Homestead. Oh, and the recipe card has dancing carrots on it with star sunglasses.
On the back of the card she wrote, "Housework is something you do, that nobody notices, unless you don't do it."
