2 Lb. of Hot Italian sausage
1 Large onion diced
2 T. Garlic powder
2 T. Lawry season salt
½ C. Brown sugar
½ C. Ketchup
¼ C. Franks Red Hot
¼ C. Yellow mustard
2 Large cans of Bush's Beans (not Grandma Browns-Sorry Grandma, Grandma Browns just don’t cut it-she will be turning in her grave after she hears this)

Directions:
Take 3 T. of butter and sauté your diced onions with the garlic powder, and seasoning salt.
After they become cooked add your chopped up Italian sausage and cook together till fully cooked.
After cooked I usually put in food processor to fine chop the Italian sausage.
Remove from processor and put into a stock pot.
Add your bean, ketchup, mustard; brown sugar, hot sauce, and mix well slowly cook on the heat for 20 minutes.
Transfer to a large baking dish and cover with sliced bacon (not necessary).
When ready for service you and warm in the microwave for a short period than put into the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 325º
