1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Sage
Onions
Celery
salte and pepper

Directions:
Break four loaves of bread, then wet it so it’s squishy. Set it off to the side for a while. You need a big bowl. Next add 2 eggs, 1 tsp. Baking powder, 1 tsp. Sage. Now fry onions and celery until browned, but not burnt. Add them with salt and pepper to taste, to the bowl, and mix it together. Then make a little patty and fry it in the frying pan to make sure it’s good. Then stuff your turkey with it.”

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
When I was a little girl Grandma and I always made the stuffing together the night before the big day. One year Aunt Joanne gave me a little girl’s recipe book for my birthday. I couldn’t wait to use it so I made Grandma tell me the recipe as I wrote every word she said down. Every year I pull out this recipe written in my childhood handwriting and think of Gram. I’ve added a little here and there but try to stick to Grandma’s words for tradition sake.
