Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 slices of thick cut bacon
3 14.5 ounce cans of canned green beans DO NOT DRAIN (I use French cut style)
1/2 cup of finely chopped sweet onion
1 tsp brown sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1.In large saucepan, add cut up bacon pieces and cook on medium heat until just browned, but not crisp. (To make cutting up bacon easier, put into freezer for several minutes before chopping).
2.Once bacon is done, add in the green beans with their liquid, the onion, and the sugar. Stir. Bring mixture to a boil, then turn down to simmer.
3.Allow beans to simmer on very low heat for 35-40 minutes without stirring to allow flavors to blend and the onion to cook. (stirring will cause the beans to break apart).
4.Take off heat and add in salt and pepper to your taste and gently stir. Do not drain off liquid. Serve with a slotted spoon. Enjoy!
