6 cups broccoli florets
3 cups chicken broth
2 cups half and half
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp. dried thyme

Directions:
Directions:
In large sauce pan, combine the broccoli and 1 cup of broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 8-10 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Put broccoli mixture in blender and blend until
nearly smooth. Return mixture to sauce pan and set aside. In small cup stir together 1/4 cup milk and the cornstarch until smooth. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the broccoli mixture. Add the
remaining 1 3/4 cups milk and remaining 2 cups of broth. Add the thyme Cook and stir for 2 more minutes.
