1 pound ground veal
1 pound ground pork
1 cup rice, uncooked
2 eggs
1 large onion, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
Pepper to taste
2 cans tomatoe soup, or sauce or 1 of each. Add water to dilute slightly.
1 - 2 heads of cabbage
1 - 2 tablespoons vinegar

Directions:

Cook rice in salted water until almost done, strain and rinse with cold water.

Combine eggs, onion, salt, pepper and ground meats, mix until all ingredients are blended together well. Add cooled rice and mix.

Preheat water adding 1 or 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Core cabbage before submerging in hot water. As the leaves fall off,remove from water and let cool. When leaves are cooled, remove a small section of the center where leaf is lumpy.
