2 cups all-purpose flour (wheat works too)
3/4 cup sugar (can use less if desired)
3-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 large eggs-seperated
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder. In another bowl, lightly beat egg yolks. Add milk, butter and vanilla; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Do not over mix. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into batter.

These waffles are hefty. One is so filling. They are Tom and I's favorite waffle recipe and they have been a hit with everyone we have shared them with!
