1 CUP SMALL CURD COTTAGE CHEESE (ROOM TEMPERATURE)
2 TBSP SUGAR
1 TBSP MINCED ONION
2 TSP CARAWAY SEED
1 TBSP BUTTER
3 TSP DILL SEED
¼ TSP BAKING SODA
1 EGG
1 TSP SALT
2½ CUP FLOUR

SOFTEN YEAST IN WATER
IN MIXING BOWL COMBINE COTTAGE CHEESE, ONION, BUTTER, DILL SEED, CARAWAY, SALT, BAKING SODA, EGG, & YEAST
ADD FLOUR TO MAKE STIFF DOUGH
LET RISE TILL DOUBLE IN BULK, STIR DOWN & PLACE IN WELL-GREASED 9 X 5 LOAF PAN
LET RISE, SPRINKLE A FEW DILL SEEDS ON TOP
BAKE AT 350º FOR 40-45 MINS
BRUSH TOP WITH MELTED BUTTER

NOTE: BATTER CAN BE KNEADED 5 TIMES, FIRST FLOUR HANDS & KNEAD IN BOWL,
CAN SUBSTITUTE YOGURT & SOUR CREAM FOR COTTAGE CHEESE
