1 c. margarine
4 eggs
4 Tbsp milk
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 c. cocoa
2 tsp baking powder

Directions:

Mix wet ingredients together. Mix dry ingredients and add. Bake in waffle iron 1 1/4 minutes to 1 1/2 minutes at close to medium. Top with powdered sugar glaze (need recipe).

Grandma Ehinger made waffle cookies for many occasions - favorite of many. I wanted to continue the tradition, but they require a special waffle maker... one that is difficult to find today. So now the"Original Grandma E waffle iron made special for waffle cookies" has a home in my pantry. Lindsey
