CAKE:
2 C sugar
2 C flour
2 sticks margarine
4 T. cocoa
1 C water
1/2 C buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 t. soda
1 t. cinnamon
1 t vanilla

FROSTING:
1 stick margarine
3 T. milk
2 T. Cocoa
1/2 box confectioners sugar (2 cups plus 2 T. loosely measured
1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 C. chopped nuts

Directions:

Cake:
Sift together sugar and flour. Put in large mixing bowl.
In a sauce pan, bring margarine, cocoa and water to a rapid boil. Pour over flour mixture and mix well.
Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix well. Batter will be thin. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes in 13 x 9 inch pan.

Frosting:
Bring margarine, milk and cocoa to boil. Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Ice cake while still warm.
Note: I usually start the icing when I take the cake out of the oven. Don't over cook.
