1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
⅛ tsp. salt
1 c. chopped apple
½ c. milk
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. butter
½ tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift first 4 ingred. Add apple and milk. Place in greased baking dish. Blend brown sugar, lemon juice, boiling water and butter. Pour over batter. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake @350º for 20 - 25 min. Serve with ice cream. This has a biscuit-like topping and tasty sauce underneath.
