1½ sleeves of saltine crackers
1¼ cups unsalted butter
1¼ cups light brown sugar
1 lb bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.
Line a greased rimmed baked sheet with parchment paper
Chop the bacon into bits and fry in a pan until crispy, drain and pat dry to remove all excess grease- set aside.
Place the crackers into the baking sheet- touching and only one layer- cover the entire pan.
In a saucepan, melt butter, add sugar and heat until it begins to boil. Continue to stir for 3 minutes while boiling.
Remove from heat and carefully pour over the cracker layer so the crackers are entirely covered.
Place in the oven and bake for 5 minutes- watch so it does not burn.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with bacon.
Allow it to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
